53rd Annual
Tallman Festival
The Tallman Festival
celebrates its 53rd anniversary Sunday, August 8, 2010 on the tree-lined
grounds of Janesville's Lincoln Tallman Restorations, operated by the Rock
County Historical Society. The stage is set for an outstanding group of
regional artists, a full day of music, local eateries and regional
wineries, and a one-of-a-kind kid's art project.
The 2010 Tallman Festival
artists are chosen by a jury of professional artists and gallery owners.
As with every year, the festival will feature a wide range of art mediums,
including 2D- and 3D- mixed media, drawing, painting, photography,
ceramics, textiles, glass, jewelry, and works in metal and wood.
The Tallman Festival will be
held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. The main gates are located on
N. Jackson Street and its' intersection with Mineral Point Avenue.
Admission is $3 for adults and children under 12 are admitted FREE.
Proceeds benefit Rock County Historical Society preservation, programs,
and projects.
